Electronic devices are not permitted during camp.

Modest clothing is required at all times.

Absolutely no alcohol, drugs, tobacco or sexual misconduct will be tolerated.

ARE THERE ANY POLICIES I NEED TO BE AWARE OF?

MEDICATIONS We have a full time camp health care provider who works with the campers and parents to make sure their healthcare needs are met and supervised. All medications must be turned into the camp nurse upon arrival for distribution.

VACCINATIONS Vaccination records must be submitted for every camper and staff member. Our preferred method is for records to be emailed to riversidecamphealth@gmail.com before registration. If this is not possible, please bring them with you for registration.

FOOD & ALLERGIES  Our kitchen staff is trained and prepared to make accommodations for any food allergies. Please consult the camp ahead of time regarding food allergies. If your camper has a special dietary requirement that we may not have at camp (i.e. soy milk, special gluten free products, etc.), you may be asked to provide some alternative options that we can distribute. Campers should not bring any outside snacks with them into their cabins.

VISITORS We appreciate it if campers do not have visitors outside of drop off and pick up times. If there are any special circumstances that we need to work around regarding this policy, please consult with the camp director ahead of time. All visitors are required to check in/out in the dining hall upon arrival/departure.

ACCEPTANCE We accept, without discrimination, all who apply without regard for race, color, national origin, or religious beliefs. We do, however, reserve the right to refuse those with conditions that we deem to be of such a nature that they could be a hazard to, or affect the well-being of, themselves or others while participating in the regular camp activities

DISCIPLINE

  • Campers will get up to three warnings for misconduct.
  • First, privileges may be lost (such as a fun activity).
  • The second warning will include a phone call home.
  • The third warning may result in early dismissal.

Campers dismissed from camp do NOT receive a refund..

HOW CAN I APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID?

It is our desire that all students will be able to participate in our camping season regardless of financial resources. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact us.
